Why do you call me good? There is only ONE who is GOOD! God is not good in comparison to evil or too that which our moral upbringing concludes to be corrupt. NO! God’s goodness is pure and perfect, so perfect that it transports humanity away from the ego’s illusion of goodness and into the perfection of itself. In the goodness of I AM there is no good and evil…there is only good! This good is so good, that it sees all as good! This goodness is not at the mercy of those who conclude to be evil. It’s not held hostage by wrong thinking, doing or identity. NO, this goodness is in and of itself perfect! This goodness is so good that it leads humanity to the place of repentance, to the place of thought provoking ecstasy! When one encounters God’s goodness and gets lost in this place of perfection, they can no longer identify by what others perceive to be good because they are now lost in a place of goodness that is all to itself good!
The question is not, “am I good?” The question is, “who’s goodness am I identifying with?” “Why do you call me good?” Jesus is not saying He is not good. He’s saying that His goodness is all together higher than what man perceived to be good in their state of duality! He’s saying that when you see God as good in the conclusion of your own evil, you have missed His goodness all together! He’s saying that until you see Him through the lens of perfection you cannot perceive your own innate goodness! And what of your goodness? Do you still feed on the tree that leads to a place of doing to be? Do you still acknowledge the illusion that is darkness? Are you still so blind that you cannot see? If you are in the light, and the light fills all things with Himself, then where is this darkness you perceive? Is it not a figment of your own imagination; an illusion found only in a darkened understanding?
Awaken to the truth of your goodness, to the reality that you’re perceiving darkness in a room flooded with light because your eyes are closed! Open your eyes to the Light and see the goodness of the Lord in the land of living! Awaken today to the reality of your goodness, not so that others might call you good, but so that you might see the perfect goodness of I AM within yourself and in all things! There is only ONE who is GOOD and you are in Him and He is in you!
