Who told you that you were naked? Who told you that were born into sin? In our shame we have covered ourselves with clothes of self-righteousness in an attempt to be made acceptable to God. We have hidden behind the fig leaf of our own making, self-effort and duality. As long as I’m covering my own nakedness, I will always judge others for theirs and blame others for mine! How I see myself is the lens through which I will see others; and whatever law or moral code used in making the judgment is the same law or code I subject myself too. All judgment was submitted to the Christ and He did not come into the world to judge the world but that through Him we might be saved. If the Christ did not come into the world to judge but to save and as He is so are we, then who is empowering my judgment? The “I” apart from the “AM” sets itself up as judge, for in its shame it must place judgment to temporally relieve its guilt. The false identity, strives to put others down and brags of its moral purity in a last ditch effort to look righteous and be accepted. The whole time claiming Christ to be its righteousness when in actuality its righteousness is nothing more than an empty morality. The “I AM” self is free and longs for all of creation to enter into its liberty!
Purity of heart is all about being naked and unashamed! Shame and fear vanish in the revelation that I am loved just as I am. In this place of nakedness I no longer see myself through the lens of the past and no longer identify with my doings…I am truly free to just be! I AM is as the wind, fluid and free, no law or moral code can restrain I AM. The freedom to be is the liberty of expanse. It is the place of the wandering soul, the reality of the wind vibrating in creative wonder and creating in wondrous joy! To the pure all things are pure! This is where the creative unction thrives, like a child in world where he can do no wrong; like a child in a room full of finger paint with the liberating permission to create! Naked and unashamed!
